I have explored the impact of one object upon another, how the past layers made their imprint on younger layers and how links build up over time. In these works I experimented with different printing and painting techniques, bringing different objects, and ideas from the objects, to the fore in turn and allowing imagination and fantasy to make new associations between the objects.
My unstructured set of found objects are representative fragments of the lives of this house and myself, but form only a-part of the complete story. In some of the work here I am interested in the gaps, in exploring the effect the missing elements have on those present, the imprints they have left in their wake.
